My favorite venue is still this wonderful Amphitheater. Los Tigres del Norte played at a bit lower level, and I appreciated that. This gem of an amphitheater has very good acoustics, and its relatively small size does not require the volume. He is fantastic and put on a really high energy lead-in to Los Tigres del Norte. Jonny has apparently moved away from the Blues a bit and has a bit more rock and roll sound going these days. We had a great time once again at the St. Augustine Amphitheater for our sixth or seventh concert, and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. He spent some time with an acoustic guitar covering some legendary blues men like John Lee Hooker and Eric Clapton. His stories about his youth as the son of sharecroppers were mesmerizing. I can't say much more than Los Tigres del Norte just put on a fabulous show. This was our sixth or seventh concert at the St. Augustine Amphitheater, and once again, we thoroughly enjoyed the evening. He last saw Jonny Lang in Minneapolis when he was 15 or 16 years old. My only negative about this show was the high volume level, particularly with Jonny Lang.
